Well, here we are at another month during the fastest pregnancy ever! Time is seriously slipping away from me, and now I am getting nervous because I am not prepared in any way for this baby! Honestly, I haven’t even purchased one single baby item yet… not even one outfit or hair bow! What am I waiting for?? If the second half of this pregnancy goes as fast as the first, I need to get my act in order and start crossing things off my list! The good news is that I finally feel good enough to do that! So I will be off work within the next couple of weeks and heading to the states with mom to do some damage control! Hello baby stores, we’re comin’ for ya!!
These pics were taken over the weekend at my friend’s lake! As you can see the bump is popping! It was so nice to be out in the fresh air all weekend and just relaxing on the water! Check out my 23 week baby update below – thanks for stopping by!
Baby’s gender: It’s a girl! Read about our gender reveal ultrasound here.
Baby’s size: She’s the size of a grapefruit! 10.5-11.8 inches long and 12.7-20.8 ounces! And I am finally feeling her kick every day! Such an amazing feeling, she’s quite active!
I’m feeling: Good! For the first time since becoming pregnant, I feel like myself. Do I feel 100% every single day? No. Am I still experiencing sickness and discomfort? Yes. But from where I came in the beginning, I am feeling very grateful that my energy is up and my spirits are high!
Symptoms: Back pain off and on, heart burn, still breaking out, shortage of breath, small waves of nausea, my first stretch mark – noooooo!
Food love: Chips and dip (more specifically, Heluva Good Dip!!!), still on that fries and gravy kick, cold fresh watermelon and strawberries, raspberry lemonade.
Food hate: Still living that vegetarian life, not a fan of any meat really. Also still having a hard time in general to think of something I’d like for supper…
Currently living in: Soft flowy dresses – can’t fit into any of my pants so I just stopped wearing them lol.
Looking forward to: Being off work (I am fortunate to get a couple of extra months before the baby comes), and starting the nursery!!
