A couple of weekends ago, we celebrated my father-in-law’s birthday by having all of the family in for brunch. Those of you who know me know that I love hosting different celebrations, and how much I love planning out fun details to go along with it! Brunch is definitely my favorite time to host an event. I don’t know if it’s because I am a lover of breakfast food, or the fact that people don’t have to book off their entire day to attend, but it is always my go-to party time. If you are looking for some easy and inexpensive ideas to host a brunch of your own, check out a few of my tips (and recipes) to make your life a little easier! Thanks for reading!
^^ The easiest, and most delicious, fruit dip you will ever make. All you need to do is mix 8 ounces of light cream cheese with a bottle of Fluff and a teaspoon of vanilla. It is seriously the best!
^^ My tip for having fresh flowers without breaking the bank? Pick up one of the $10 bouquet deals at the grocery store. Once you are home, instead of just putting the bouquet in one vase, find smaller vases such as mason jars or even old jam jars! That way you can divide the flowers up, making it seem like you have more!
^^ Breakfast essentials to serve: veggie quiche, homemade waffles, and of course bacon!
^^ Texas, loving life because our house was filled with kids for him to play with!
^^ Secret ingredients to add for the best waffles ever? Cinnamon and orange zest! They were amazing!
^^ Everyone was dying over the bacon we cooked. Instead of regular, or even maple bacon, we tried old fashion bacon! It’s cut a little thicker than regular, and it has the best flavor! I would definitely recommend it! (from Atlantic Superstore)
^^ The highlight of the morning was definitely these cupcakes from Cake-A-Chance! They were so cute and delicious! A great alternative to birthday cake, especially for a morning party!
