Our little girl’s nursery has finally come together, and we are so happy with it! After what seems like forever, we finally were able to find all of the pieces for this space. I knew since I found out that I was pregnant that I wanted to do a boho/tribal nursery, for a boy or a girl. I just love the rustic prints and the animal inspiration. The first thing we purchased for the room was this rug from Anthropologie – and can I just say that basing an entire nursery around one item did prove to be challenging. But I was instantly in love with the colors and print – so we ran with it! From there we just kept finding items that matched and had a bohemian feel. Now that the room is done I find myself just hanging out in here, waiting for our girl to arrive! Check out the pictures below and I will do my best to provide the details of where everything came from at the end of the post!
^ My favourite corner of the room – I still can’t believe we DIY’d this teepee! (Thanks Hubby)
^ Can always find this doodle snoozing on the rug – just waiting for his sister I think!
^ My parents dug out my old teddy bear from my childhood and cleaned him up for the nursery. It’s crazy to think that I slept with him every night as a kid, and now he’s in my daughter’s soon to be bed.
