Stove Top Cheesy Nacho Dip

When I was younger my mom used to buy this delicious spicy cheese nacho dip in a jar that we would heat up and dip Tostitos in – it was so good! Over the weekend I was craving this snack so bad that we attempted to recreate it! It turned out pretty good so I thought I’d share this super easy recipe with you all today! If any of you already make a similar dip, leave what ingredients we were missing in the comments! Hope you all enjoy this delicious little snack!

– 1/4 small onion, diced
– 1 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tbs olive oil
– 3 tbs Cheese Wiz
– 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 slice gouda cheese
– 1 tomato, diced
– 2 tbs chopped fresh cilantro
– 1 tsp cayenne pepper
– Pinch of salt
– Pinch of pepper

Step 1: Cook onion in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for 8 minutes or until tender. Add garlic, and cook 1 minute.

Step 2: Over medium-low heat, add your tomato, cheese and cilantro and stir until it forms a sauce. Add salt, pepper and cayenne pepper to taste. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 3: Serve with tortilla chips and your favorite salsa. Enjoy!
